The contrarian who builds what doesn't exist yet

Everything I've done has been a cold start. At Ola's Founder's Office I rebuilt the group's tax function after it abruptly lost its head — hired the team, rebuilt the data architecture, unlocked a few hundred crore stuck across four entities — whilst spending the rest of the week on the factory floors, sixteen hours a day, learning battery weld processes in April and knowing them well enough by June to triple the yield. Before India, four years in London and the EU: BCG, then building Wavestone's UK Data and AI service line from zero to about £5M, then headhunted to build data and analytics for a $400M FinTech and reporting to its CFO and CEO — promoted twice in sixteen months largely for disagreeing with people considerably senior to me and turning out to be right. Two years in the British Army Reserve alongside a maths degree. At IIMA, which I chose after turning down scholarships at LBS, ISB and IIM-B, I started Nerds Day and the Annual Snow Trek, both because they didn't exist and should have. Now working across defence tech, EV and AI, and always happy to talk to anyone building something from zero, or trying to sell into a market they've never sold into before.
